Add a touch of romance to your life with Rooms with a View Crochet Along blanket! There are two versions to choose from with two yarn options: One with the “lights off” with black as the dominant colour, and one with the “lights on” with ecru as the dominant colour.
Tension and tools required:
Using Cottonsoft DK: 18 standard treble stitches across and 11 rows measures 10cm x 10cm using a 4.0mm hook. With the Cottonsoft DK use a 4mm hook (or hook to match tension) plus a 4.5mm for the mosaic crochet squares.
Using Big Value DK: 17 standard treble stitches across and 10 rows measures 10cm x 10cm using a 4.5mm hook. With the Big Value DK use a 4.5mm hook (or hook to match tension) plus a 5mm for the mosaic crochet squares.
You will also need stitch markers, yarn needle, and scissors.
This blanket is made using a combination of different squares and rectangles and a few different stitching techniques. The pattern starts with the large central window rectangle. Two rectangles and eight smaller squares are then crocheted and joined together around the central rectangle. Rounds are then crocheted around the entire blanket.
Project measures 115cm x 95cm (45in x 37in) using Cottonsoft DK and 120cm x 100cm (47in x 39in) using Big Value DK.
